A seven story scotch retail experience in Gangnam, Seoul. A design of copper panels are covering the outside of the building. During the day, light catches across the copper exterior, reflecting the whisky’s character of liquidity. After sunset, a Johnnie Walker label, tilted just at 24 degrees, wraps around the building to make the house look like a giant bottle.
An immersive whiskey experience is created throughout the building representing a retail floor, a roof top bar, a club, VIP whiskey tasting lounge, a cocktail making school and a restaurant where visitors get exclusive access to rare whiskies. Materials like copper and oak used throughout the building are inspired on the whiskey making process. Consumers are able to interact with technology and props to learn more about the brand.
